moBank is a mid-sized Portuguese bank that concentrates on delivering
banking services through electronic channels.
The bank has a WWW site that provides access to its services.
It also provides a simplified version of that site for users
of mobile phones with WAP and XHTML browsers.
The bank decides to create a new way for clients with mobile phones
to access its services. To achieve this, they expose some of their
banking services through Bluelemon technology.
Now instead of visiting the WAP site, customers can download a Java application
to their phones. The application is branded (color scheme, logo, sounds) to match
moBank corporate image.
Depending on the phone's capabilities, one of two application variants is
picked automatically: moBlue (for older phones) or moBlueX.
The application is stored on the user's phone and can be launched any time.
