WHAT AND WHEN DO YOU PAY FOR? |

You pay a fixed per-hour price for the working hours you order,

Satisfaction guarantee: if you are dissatisfied with a task’s outcome, you will not
be charged for the working hours we spent on this task,

The per-hour price can be reduced by various discounts. You may receive a discount at
the time of ordering (for example a trial period discount) or later, as you use the
working hours (for example a discount for early work assignment),

An invoice will be issued at the end of each agreed period.

STEP 1: DEFINE TASK |
|
|
Your work must be split into tasks before it can be assigned to JavaPeople resources.
Each task should require between 8 and 40 hours of a single developer’s work.
Other than the name, a task is defined by:
- detailed, complete description of the work that needs to be done,
- acceptance conditions – a checklist of conditions and tests that
verify whether a completed task fits its description.

STEP 2: ESTIMATE TASK DURATION |
|
|

We offer you the option to estimate the time and cost of your
assignments on your own, without negotiation or horse-trading.
We believe that you, as the manager of your project,
are the best person to estimate the time-cost of tasks you define.
We will accept you estimation for both the time management and billing.
We will only intervene if the actual time-cost unreasonably or repeatedly
differs from your estimation.

STEP 3: SCHEDULE TASK |
|
|
|
Once a task has been estimated, it can be scheduled for a resource you chose.
With JavaPeople Console you can track how the working hours you bought are being
used. Take a look at the calendar of two resources:
- a J2EE specialist who works 5 x 8 hours per week and delivers results at the day a task is completed, at 7 PM,
- a developer with general Java skills who works 15 hours per week and delivers results by the end of each week on Fridays at 7PM.

STEP 4: CONTROL THE WORK PROGRESS |
|

STEP 5: ACCEPT OR REJECT TASK |
|
|
|
We ask you to review and evaluate the result of each task and either accept or reject it.
If you accept a task, the intellectual property for the result is legally transferred to you.
If you reject a task, you will not have to pay for it. The cost of working hours
scheduled for that task will be deducted from the invoice.
We will provide you with feedback on the actual work time if it differs from your
estimation. Nevertheless we will use your estimation, rather than the actual time,
for billing. This way your cost is always predictable.
