WORK MODELS

When booking resources, you need to specify their skills and knowledge, as well as their work model: how much they will work and under what schedule.

With JavaPeople, you can tailor your resources’ schedule to your requirements, whether you need a Java developer working 40 hours per week, or a web graphic designer working 5 hours every two weeks. This way you buy what you need, nothing more.

If you need multiple resources in different areas of your requirement, mix work models and use best suitable one for you, for example:

  • 40 hours per week, completed tasks are delivered on Thursdays at 10 AM
  • 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, completed tasks are delivered every day at 5 PM
  • 20 hours per month, completed tasks are delivered on every month’s last Friday at 1 PM

SCREENSHOT

While placing an order for JavaPeople resources, pick a predefined work model template, or tell us about your specific work model and schedule expectations. Work model arrangement defines:

  • The amount of work (work hours) available from one resource during a period – up to 8h/day or equivalent
  • Work cycle: how often completed tasks will be delivered (every day, every week etc.)
  • Delivery date: day of week (or month) and hour when completed tasks will be delivered

A longer work cycle leaves us with more flexibility, so we will offer a discount for resources that work in longer cycle periods!
